Healthcare Amenities and Conveniences
If you're hungry for a snack, need to fill a prescription or require language translation, we have convenient services to suit your needs.
ATM (Automatic Teller Machine)
An ATM is available 24 hours a day in the hallway that connects the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital lobby to the main entrance of Memorial Regional Hospital, just beyond the children's hospital information desk.
Call Lights
Patients can always easily get in touch with their medical caregivers. In addition to the call light feature at every bed, patients and their families are given a cell phone number so they can reach their nurse or medical caregiver directly.
Cashier's Office
Payments can be made toward medical bills at the Cashier's Office from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Stamps can be purchased from vending machines in the Cashier's Office.

The Memorial Regional Hospital cafeteria is just off the lobby of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
The cafeteria is open daily.

Hot entrees, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad bar, bread and rolls, cereal, yogurt, desserts and more are available. The menu and availability of items change each day. Refreshments are available in vending machines in the cafeteria dining area.
Java Cafe
The Java Cafe coffee stand sells gourmet coffee drinks and a variety of muffins, cakes and cookies. Hours of operation are 6:45am to 5pm, Monday through Friday; closed Saturday and Sunday. Located in the main lobby of Memorial Medical Office Centre, 1150 North 35 Avenue.
McDonald's Restaurant
For your convenience, there is a McDonald's restaurant in the main lobby of Memorial Regional Hospital. McDonald's is open seven days a week from 6am to midnight.
Nutrition Services
The Memorial Regional Hospital Food and Nutrition Services staff is dedicated to providing patient meals that are delicious and nutritious. We allow patients to choose their own selections from a patient menu at meal times. The Food and Nutrition Services Department can be reached at (954) 265-5165.
Snacks
Vending machines are on the fourth floor and in the cafeteria dining area. Refreshments can also be purchased in the Memorial Gift Shop.
Gift Shop
For quick snacks, magazines or beautiful gifts, the Memorial Gift Shop has something for everyone! Located in the main hallway of Memorial Regional Hospital close to the main entrance, the shop sells candy, sugar-free treats, cards, books, newspapers, coloring books and crayons, flowers and plants, ice cream, gift bags, boxed chocolates, children's clothing, toys, baby items and more. Seasonal merchandise is also available.
As an added convenience, you may call in gift orders for patients. The gift shop accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards. Friendly volunteers staff the shop, and proceeds benefit Memorial Healthcare System programs. The gift shop is open daily from 9am to 8pm. Language Services
Memorial Healthcare System serves a vibrant multicultural community in South Florida and works to provide patients with health care services in their own language. Memorial Healthcare System maintains a list of employees who speak foreign languages to support patients and families and/or uses over-the-phone interpreting services to assist with communication needs. Please ask your nurse or health care provider about arranging interpreting services.
Pharmacy
The Hollywood Discount Pharmacy is conveniently located in the lobby of the Memorial Medical Office Centre, 1150 North 35 Avenue. Medical supplies, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, candy, cards and more are available. The store hours are 8:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday; 8:30am to 1pm, Saturday; closed on Sunday. For more information call Hollywood Discount Pharmacy at (954) 989-6300.
Phones
There are several public pay telephones in the hallway between the lobby of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and the cafeteria. There is also a pay phone near the restroom area off the main entrance to Memorial Regional Hospital. There are courtesy phones throughout the hospital for free local calls.
Special Needs
Memorial Healthcare System provides American Sign Language interpreters for you and your family at no charge. Memorial also provides adaptive equipment during your hospital stay; such as, special call systems to call for assistance and special phones — TTY phones, voice-carry-over phones or large button phones. If you need special accommodations for your disability or an American Sign Language Interpreter, or a special call system or special phone please inform your nurse or contact the nurse manager of the unit or the nursing supervisor or the hospital.

Valet Parking
Free valet parking is available at the entrance to the Memorial Outpatient Center and the main entrance to Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as the main entrance to the Memorial Medical Office Centre, 1150 North 35 Avenue.
