Center for Behavioral Health — Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Services
Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Services
The Center for Behavioral Health Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Unit is an important part of an innovative treatment approach. Experienced professionals provide comprehensive care for children and teenagers and for adults diagnosed with both a substance abuse disorder and an emotional disorder. A physician leads the team of specially trained psychologists, therapists, nurses and therapeutic recreation specialists. Ongoing staff training ensures that patients have access to advanced treatments. Substance abuse treatment begins with supervised detoxification and continues with personalized therapy.
Adult Detoxification
Inpatient detoxification rids the body of the problem substance. Advanced detoxification methods are used to keep each individual as safe and comfortable as possible during the process. Inpatient detoxification usually takes three to eight days; however, longer stays may be required. When the individual is free of drugs and alcohol, psychological treatment can begin.
Child and Adolescent Unit
Early treatment improves the chances that the patient will have a happy, healthy future. The Center for Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Treatment Services Unit is dedicated to providing effective treatment for youths struggling with emotional illness or substance abuse. A secure, structured environment provides the setting for treatment before the patient moves to a less restrictive environment for additional care. Involuntary services for adolescent substance abusers are also available.
