Esther L. Grossman
For more than three decades, Esther L. Grossman dedicated herself to helping others through the Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary.
Mrs. Grossman considered her involvement in the Volunteer Auxiliary a labor of love, and she was known for her tireless efforts on behalf of the organization. She was instrumental in raising funds to support such auxiliary projects as the Women's Health and Resource Center, the Memorial Bloodmobile and the mobile mammography van.
Mrs. Grossman curtailed her participation in the Volunteer Auxiliary in 1997.
To recognize her years of service, Memorial Healthcare System named the Esther L. Grossman Women's Health & Resource Center in her honor. This beautiful facility provides healthcare awareness, education, prevention and support services for generations of women. It also serves as a reminder of the remarkable woman who gave so much to Memorial Healthcare System.
